Wells and Montacute

Okay, our first two days. Driving from the airport was absolutely harrowing. Driving on the left, roundabouts, and VERY narrow roads. Gives narrow new meetings. Imagine a one lane road, two way traffic and cars parked in at least one of the lanes! We drove through Cheddar Gorge, narrow, high walls, and windy. No pictures, because I refused to stop and try to park! Then on to Wells, which had parking lots, so we could get out and walk. I was ready to turn around and come home. Here's a pic of Wells Cathedral.

Yesterday we did Montacute House, a manor house built in 1600's. It's an Elizabethan house. Makes you wish you were rich doesn't it!
